The Waeve

Post by freestyle45 »

What a great album, hoping what comes next is similar. Some Pretty doesn't seem to be physically released, which is weird. I am old school, so like physical things. Like my women. Thumbs up.

Some Pretty does have a physical 7" release, albeit in limited copies. Looks like it's been sold on Discogs before but no one's offering it currently: https://www.discogs.com/release/2605524 ... ing-Pretty

I checked eBay just now but there don't seem to be any copies available at the moment.

Hi to all from Veikko´s forum which is so sadly about to close.

Yeah, I love The Waeve and can´t wait for their 2nd album, reportedly due to be out in late 2024

The Waeve

As already mentioned on the vblur page, but in case anyone hasn't seen it. New music is coming soon from The Waeve (Graham Coxon and Rose Elinor Dougall).

New song, 'City Lights' here.

What do you think? I think it sounds great. I'm hearing some Bowie in there. Incidentally, I like the promo shot and typography accompanying it too. Nice retro vibe to it and cool old Porsche 911 and white double breasted suit on Graham. :D This should be good.

I like it. The other songs I've seen from videos people have recorded don't seem that great. The first album really was so good, I am hoping this can match it. My mate is seeing them tonight supporting Elbow

I’m hovering on tickets for Bristol. Annoyingly it’s part of the Harbourside Festival gig so heaven knows what time they would be on and I don’t fancy hanging around all day, especially if I have kids in tow. Not sure.

I ordered the red vinyl from Rough Trade. Hopefully should be a nice looking thing.
